Lesa Olson-Kennedy

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Lesa Jean Olson. Lesa, 55, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Logan, Utah, to Kendall and Colleen Olson, Lesa brought warmth and light into the world from the very beginning. A proud graduate of Murray High School, Lesa found her true calling as a hairstylist. For many years, she didn’t just style hair; she built lasting friendships. Known for her creativity and kindness, Lesa had a special gift for making everyone who sat in her chair feel valued, beautiful, and heard.

Lesa’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her two sons, Daniel and Jacob Martinez, who were the absolute center of her world. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Kendall and Colleen; her brothers and sisters; Suzanne (Mark) Tate, Kevin (Tiffany) Olson, Shayne (Nicole) Olson, and Amber Martin; and many nieces and nephews who adored their aunt. Those who knew Lesa will always remember her infectious laughter, her warm heart, and the way she loved so generously. She was a second mom to many of her sons' friends, always ready with a hug or a listening ear. While we will miss her dearly, we find comfort knowing she is at peace and that her bright spirit lives on in all of us.

A celebration of Lesa’s life will be held. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in sharing memories and honoring the beautiful life she lived. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (4350 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah).

We are raising funds to help cover mortuary expenses, settle outstanding bills, and provide support to Daniel and Jacob as they navigate this difficult time.
