Linda Valenzuela Edwards was born August 17, 1955 to Nina Butler and Rueben Valenzuela in Murray, Utah. She grew up with seven brothers and sisters. Her and her siblings built an unbreakable bond in their early childhood years that has remained unwavering to this day.\r\n \r\nLinda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife. She married the love of her life, Jesse Edwards, on Valentine’s Day 1972. They had two children and four grandchildren whom they loved more than anything in this world. Linda’s family was everything to her, and she made sure every day that the people she loved were taken care of.\r\n\r\nShe enjoyed anything and everything that involved her family. She was at every event for her kids and grandkids, from soccer games, volleyball games, basketball games to piano recitals and track meets. \r\n\r\nEvery year she looked forward to going camping in the summer with the Edwards family. The bond she shared with Jesse’s brothers, sisters, and their spouses was very special to her. She enjoyed going for long walks in the creek, riding four wheelers with the grandkids, and sitting around the campfire sharing stories.\r\n\r\nThere are so many wonderful things to be said about Linda, too many to write. She was kind hearted and caring. Not only did she enjoy caring for her children and grandchildren but also many of her nieces and nephews. She always took care of everyone she loved without hesitation. She was quick witted and could make anyone laugh. Her sense of humor was unlike anyone else. \r\n\r\nHer soul was pure and full of love. She touched the hearts of so many with her ability to love unconditionally and without judgment. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she shared special relationships with all of them. They loved her dearly and will cherish the wonderful memories they were able to make with her. \r\n\r\nLinda passed away the morning of November 4th, 2020, surrounded by her children and grandchildren after a long fight with pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edwards, and parents, Nina Butler and Rueben Valenzuela.
