Lois Jackson

Lois Helen Measom Jackson born Jan. 17, 1934 passed away suddenly on July 3, 2022. Born to William and Margaret Measom she was the third of 5 children. She married Burtis (Bud) Jackson on Feb.16, 1951, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Stephan) Ross, son Terry Jackson, Grandchildren Kristin (Randy) Kipp, Andrew (Hillary Price) Ross ,Cassidy Ross, Dana Jackson, Jennifer (Sean) Rushton, Nelson Young. 8 great grandchildren, Sisters Margaret (Billie) Jones, Joann (Bob) Howe, special extra children Scott, Kelly, Cathy, Karen, Linda and David, her huge theatre family and many others. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy, brother Owen and her soulmate Burtis (Bud) Jackson.

The world has lost a light that can never be replaced and heaven has received an angel that has waited 33 years to reunite with the love of her life who will watch over each and everyone of those she adores.

Viewing to be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. Murray, UT on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 6-9 pm and final services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at the LDS Ward House located at 4845 Woodhaven Drive with a viewing 1 hour prior to services. Special thank you to the ICU staff at Intermountain Health Care, your care and compassion were above and beyond! As a tribute to Lois, please wear blue to the services as this was her favorite color.
