Lois Johnson Eatchel Obituary (1925 - 2006)

“Loie” Our beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Lois Johnson Eatchel, passed away November 14, 2006. She was born May 10, 1925 to Edward James Johnson and Sybil Oscaria Cleland in Murray, Utah. She married Wesley Glen Eatchel on June 20, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. The sealing of their marriage was performed by Spencer W. Kimball, then a member of the Quorum of the Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. “Loie”, as she was known to all her relatives and friends, bore two sons, Kimball Sterling Eatchel who preceded her in death (1990) and Bradley Glen Eatchel. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Glen; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Glen (Leslie Drachman); grandson, Tyler Wesley, who is currently serving in the Armenia Yerevan Mission; and granddaughter, Brianne. The family wishes to thank HCS Hospice Specialists, Canyon Rim Care Center, and Dr. Kevin Walsh for their loving care and compassion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Millcreek 8th Ward, 4600 So. 600 E., Murray, Utah. Friends and family may attend a visitation at the church prior to services from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
