Loletta Cowling Wood Obituary (1913 - 2006)

Early Tuesday morning Loletta “Peggy” quietly slipped away from this life and back into the arms of her loving husband who had preceded her in death just four months earlier. Along with her beautiful relationship with her husband, Peggy was known for her unshakable commitment to her church. A life-long member, she served in many capacities including Stake Missionary late in life. Peggy will also be remembered for her spark of fun and sense of humor. She possessed a creative soul and was well known for her fine handiwork. We will miss her loving concern for each of us in her family; but we rejoice knowing that Peggy has been reunited with loving husband. Peggy is survived by daughter April Snyder, son David L. Wood, and son Thomas D. Wood. She is also survived by brother David Cowling. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy.(10600 So.), where friends may call from 11:30-12:45. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
