LonaFaye Kratzer Evans Obituary (1931 - 2012)

LonaFaye Clifford Kratzer Evans, 80, passed away on May 9, 2012 in Cedar City, UT. She was born December 1, 1931 in Menan, ID to Vetta Pettingill Clifford and Harold Albert Clifford, graduated from Weber High School in 1950. She married Wayne Wallace Kratzer on May 20, 1955 and was a mother to three children. Her husband Wayne passed away on November 1, 1982. They were sealed for time and eternity on November 21, 1983. She married Willard Wood Evans on March 28, 1987 and added four stepsons to her family. He passed away May 18, 2010. She enjoyed boating, camping, water skiing, traveling, dancing and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survived by daughter Kathryn (Bob) Garnett, sons Brian Wayne Kratzer and Michael H. (Tami) Kratzer, three beautiful granddaughters, Michele K. (Brad) Jordan, Nicole M. Kratzer and McKel L. Kratzer, four precious great-grandsons, Nathan, Daniel, Isaac and Ethan Jordan. She loved her granddaughters and great-grandsons so much. Also survived by three brothers, Merrill (Carol) Clifford, Don (Linda) Clifford, Lynn (Carol) Clifford, and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her parents, brother Vaughn and sister Karma. Funeral services will be held at noon, Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Murray Heritage LDS Church, 6280 South 41 West, Murray, UT, where friends and family may call one hour prior to services.
