LouCylle Reneer Pyper Obituary (1933 - 2015)

Our sweet, beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, LouCylle Reneer Pyper, 81, passed away peacefully, Thursday May 28th, 2015, in her home in South Jordan, Utah, surrounded by her loved ones. Her selfless example, faith, and devotion to her husband and children is a legacy that all who knew her will remember. LouCylle was born July 22nd, 1933 to Elmo Malcolm Reneer and Grace May Tanner Reneer, in Thatcher, Arizona. She married Kenneth Lee Pyper, Sr., November 10, 1951, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles, CA Temple September 7, 1963. LouCylle exemplified true service to her family, God, and to all in need, she served in countless church callings, working in the Jordan River Temple for many years, and serving an LDS Church Security Department Mission with her husband. She was the heart of her family, celebrating cherished traditions, and finding joy and humor throughout her life. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ken; her 9 children, Christine (Bill) Bacon, Lee (Renee) Pyper, Lorene (Dana) Winters, Lon (Darla) Pyper, LouAnna (Ryan) Schick, Amee (Kevan) Guy, Aaron Pyper, Lance (Julee') Pyper, and Lynnelle (Jonny) Harmer; 45 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; her siblings Farrel Reneer, Margie (Ralph) Gee, Kenny Reneer, Ricky (Frances) Reneer, and Steve (Gail) Reneer. She is preceeded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 am at the River Ridge 1st Ward, 1300 West 10200 South, South Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, and on Monday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church.
