Lucia Burnett Edginton Obituary (1924 - 2018)

Lucia Burnett Edginton, age 94, passed away December 29, 2018. Born July 27, 1924 in Dumas, Texas to Lucian Burnett and Aletha Payne Burnett. Married Bill Edginton on January 1, 1945 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Their union lasted 41 years until Bill’s death in 1986. Lucia was a wonderful wife and mother. Bill and Lucia loved to travel. She later worked for Western and Delta Airlines. She is survived by sons: Dave, Wayne (Patt); daughter, Robyn (Bert) Savage; granddaughters, Kimberly (David), Candice (Kenneth), Nichole (Kevin); seven great grandchildren who she loved dearly. The family wishes to thank Heather and Henrietta with Heartwood Home Health and Hospice and all the caregivers and staff at the Ashford Assisted Living Care Center. A family memorial was held to honor and remember Lucia.
