On Friday July 23, 2021 our loving mom, grandma and friend joined her husband Gene W Murri to dance once again in the moonlight. \r\nShe was born December 7, 1935 in Sugar City, Idaho to Zeddie William and Bessie Richards Hendricks. She grew up in Sugar City and Saint Anthony area. She graduated from South Fremont High School in 1953.\r\nOn November 19, 1954 she married the love of her life, Gene. Together they raised two daughters and two sons, Annette, Gregory, Phillip and Cindy. They resided in several places prior to moving to Phoenix in 1959 were the family enjoyed pool parties, camping outings, dirt bike adventures, and a yearly trip to visit family in Idaho. After their son’s passing in 1976 they transferred to Nampa in 1978 to be closer to family. In 1982 they were transferred to Salt Lake City. In 1985 they moved to Jerome to enjoy retirement. After Gene’s passing in 1995 she continued to resided in Jerome enjoying volunteering at the sheriff’s office, working at the school, playing bingo with friends, and frequent trips with family to the casino in Jackpot. She was known as lucky Lu 777. In 2012 she moved to Salt Lake City where she met new bingo friends, crocheted hats and blankets for charity. \r\nLuDeen is survived by her two daughters Annette (Tom) Diebert, Cindy (Eldon) Oman, and son Phillip W Murri; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and her three adopted daughters Brenda, Sandra and Laurie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zeddie and Bessie Hendricks; her husband Gene W Murri; her son Gregory G Murri; three sisters: Lucille Miller, Joy Murdock and Zola Hendricks, her two brothers: Verl and Donald Hendricks. \r\nWe are so thankful for all the wonderful caregivers on the 8th floor and Hospice at the IMC Hospital in Murray, Utah. \r\nThe family will be staying in Twin Falls for a celebration of life the evening prior to the grave side service. The service will begin at 11:30 am, there will not be a luncheon after. \r\nIn lieu of flowers please do a simple act of kindness to a stranger or donate to your favorite charity.
