Lynn Holyoak

Lynn A. Holyoak
1946-2026

Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend valiantly completed his earthly mission and returned home to Heavenly Father on Sept. 06, 2026.

He was a stalwart man and served with all of his heart. He faithfully served his church mission in the Northern Indian Mission, he honorably served his country in the Vietnam War, and lovingly served those around him every day. He had a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and faithfully served in multiple callings throughout his life.

He was married to his sweetheart in the St. George Temple for all time and eternity, and helped raise four beautiful daughters.

Lynn was a jack-of-all-trades, and had adventures doing rafting tours on the Green River, fighting forest fires, logging, and fixing anything and everything. Outside of his family, his biggest passion was aviation – as a pilot and aircraft mechanic.

Lynn was a fighter and was an inspiration to all. He set a great example to others as he lived and fought with Parkinson’s disease for almost 30 years. We thank those at Rock Steady Boxing for the great program that helps those with Parkinson’s.

We will truly miss Lynn and look forward to the day when we will see him again. Until then, we know that he will be watching over us.

We love you, Lynn, Dad, Grandpa!

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa; his parents, Helen and Glen, and his brother, Stan.

He is survived by his spouse, Cathy; his daughters, Jenette (Jeremy), Michelle (Dan), and Wendy; his grandchildren, Sydney (Kody), Bryson (Hallie), Christopher, and Adeline; his great-grandchildren, Finley, Theodore, and Daisy; and other loving family and friends.
