Salt Lake City, UT
Daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend. Career-woman, fly-fisher, tele-skier, golfer and dog-lover.
Lynn Austin Laberge died on November 16, 2009 after stubbornly turning a six-month death sentence into a full four-year sparring match with cancer. She fought with intelligence, intuition, and not an ounce of give-up, but the foe was too great.
Lynn Ann Austin was born May 19, 1964 in St. Albans, VT., daughter of John and Gertrude Austin and younger sister of Jay Austin. She was a graduate of Bellows Free Academy and Champlain College. In 1990 she wed Joe Laberge and they moved off to Salt Lake City, UT for adventures skiing, fishing and golfing. Lynn was the proud adoptive mother of Robbie and Jackie Laberge, whom she loved beyond measure.
Lynn is survived by her mother and brother, and by her husband and children who will all miss her sorely.
Visiting hours will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 S. State St.; Murray, Utah from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 19.
