Mabel Covolo Foianini

Mabel Covolo Foianini, 83, died May 3, 2012, at her home in Sandy, Utah.

Mrs. Foianini was born in Glenco, WY on May 23, 1928, to Joseph and Rose Covolo.

Mabel lived almost all of her life in Wyoming, growing up in the Bridger Valley. She married Sasto Foianini on November 15, 1944 and they enjoyed 67 years together.

The Foianini’s made their home in Rock Springs, Wyoming for over 60 years. They moved to a retirement community in Sandy, UT in the fall of 2009.

Mabel is survived by her husband, Sasto, daughter Yonne Benson (James), son Larry Foianini (Mary), son Ray Foianini (Paula), brothers Bruno and Gino Covolo, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2012, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at St. Helens Catholic Church in Fort Bridger, WY. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 11:00 am at the church. Graveside services will follow at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
