TO VIEW FUNERAL SERVICE LIVE CLICK LINK BELOW\r\nView Funeral Webcast\r\n\r\nMonday May 11, 2020, Manase Fehoko Tu’akoi a loving husband and father of seven passed away at the age of sixty.\r\n\r\nManase was born February 18, 1960 in Tokomololo, Tonga to Mele Hosea and Viliami Makamaile Tu’akoi. He was the second to the youngest of nine children and was known as the favorite child. At the age of sixteen, he immigrated to the United States and settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from South High School, Class of ’78. A year later he married the love of his life, Faleiupolu Lomu on May 19, 1979 in the Salt Lake City Temple, where they were sealed for all time and eternity. Throughout their marriage, the two of them worked in harmony to support one another in each of their church callings. Their greatest accomplishment was being parents to their seven beautiful children, four girls and three boys. \r\n\r\nManase spent the majority of his life in service to others, even if it meant taking the shirt off his own back. He was always more than willing to lend a helping hand with no complaints and no questions asked. He was notorious for his cooking and always made sure that no one ever went hungry. He loved listening to Tongan hymns, playing it at maximum volume, and singing along just as loud. He was a boxing champ and fought in all aspects of his life, leaving a legacy of enduring love for future generations to follow.\r\n\r\nManase is survived by his beautiful wife Faleiupolu, his seven children, Kapiolani Fine Fisi’ipeau (Luckley), Manase Jr. (Fiona), Meliame Palu Iloa (Paul), Nick Paras (Sheena), Spencer Suliasi (Tina), Lola Marie Talanoa (Bernarnd), Melinda Taeao Mostyn (Nicholas), and his pride and joy, his thirty-seven grandchildren. \r\n\r\nDue to capacity restrictions, a link to live feed of the Viewing Services will be provided to those that would like to tune in remotely. Viewing services will be broadcasted 10:00 am-12:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2020. The Graveside service will be held at Elysian Burial Gardens at 12:30pm. Social distancing rules required.
