Marcia Joyce Sharp Hepner

Marcia Joyce Hepner, 84, passed away on August 11, 2020. She was born in Tooele, Utah to Lawrence Sharp and Joyce Cassity Sharp. She was raised in Vernon, Utah with her sister, Lorna, and two brothers, Dale and Weston. She married her sweetheart, George Carroll Hepner, on June 26, 1956, and he later passed on March 20, 2013.

She graduated from Tooele High School in 1954. She retired after working in the school cafeterias for Murray School District. She always enjoyed having her dog as a companion, as well as having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around.

Marcia is survived by her two sons, Nick (Karon) Hepner and Jack (Shanna) Hepner; one daughter, Karen Hepner; two granddaughters, Amy (Jared) Thorsen and Randi Hepner; two grandsons, Sean J. Hepner and Ricky Hepner; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Charlene and June; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her two brothers, Dale Sharp and Weston Sharp; sister, Lorna Dalton; and her daughter-in-law, Kristi Hepner.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, Utah.
