Margaret May Thomas Lester Obituary (1928 - 2015)

Age 86, died June 14, 2015 in Delta, Utah. Margaret was born September 12, 1928 to Jacob Elmer and Charlota Peterson Thomas in Magna, Utah. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1946. She was married to Darrell Snarr Lester on May 28, 1947. In 1982, her and her husband moved from Murray, Utah to Delta, Utah. Margaret and Darrell were sealed in the Manti LDS temple on May 28, 1988, on their 40th wedding anniversary. She was a faithful wife, and a kind and loving mother, grandma and great grandma and loved to play cards with her family. She is survived by her six children, Scott (Kristi) - Magna, Steve (Sandie) - Riverton, Diane Burroughs (Joe) - Iowa, Ken (Janae) - Washington, Carolee Anderson (Brad) - Las Vegas, Margaret Dutson (Rusty) - Delta, sister LaRae Naylor (Hal) - Taylorsville, brothers Keith Thomas (Faye) - Bountiful, John Thomas (Roylynn) - Salt Lake City, Richard (Gloria) - Bonderant, Wy. Margaret has 6 children, 30 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband Darrell S. Lester, sisters, Bernice and Fern, infant granddaughter Brenda Lee, granddaughters Kaytee and Kenzee, and infant great grandson Joe. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 18th at the Copperview LDS Stake Center, 12147 S. 3600 W., Riverton, Utah, where a viewing will be from 11:00 to 11:45, with funeral services at 12:00 noon, followed by a luncheon.
