Margaret Hogan Rideout

Salt Lake City, UT—Margaret R. Rideout was born in West Jordan, Utah to Donald and Edna Hogan. She graduated from Jordan High School and the University of Utah. Marg was active in many organizations, including the Delta Gamma Sorority. She married Gordon Rideout on May 18, 1946. They raised 3 children, Hanna, Doug and Phil. She taught 2nd grade in the Jordan School District for over 20 years. She was a member of the LDS church.
Marg is survived by her 2 sons; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; 14 siblings; and her daughter. We would like to thank and recognize all those who cared for her in her final years.
A viewing will be held Friday, February 26, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 12 noon at the Olympus 4th Ward, 2675 E. 4430 S., with a viewing prior to services from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment: Draper City Cemetery.
