Margaret Jewett Woolsey

Margaret was born in Murray, Utah to John and Edith Riley Jewett. Married Ernest Woolsey on November 20, 1940; he passed away April 17, 1972.

Margaret was a long-time resident of Midvale, Utah, and was an active member of the LDS Church. She had many trials in her life, but dealt with them with courage and strength. Margaret enjoyed her roses and gardening, church activities, and her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Kathy) and Dean; grandson, Travis; three great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kim and Zach; and two great-great-grandchildren, Jameson and Bella. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carolyn; grandson, Darrin; and brothers, Jack and George.

The family wants to express their thanks to Alta Ridge Assisted Living for the great care they gave to Margaret. A special thanks to Danny and Rita and family for all you have done.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12 noon at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street, with a viewing for family and friends at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
