Cottonwood Heights, UT
1949-2013
Born January 12, 1949 to Earl and Carol Laycock in American Fork, UT, Margie passed away on July 30, 2013. Margie was a hardworking and successful business owner. Working side by side with her husband, Paul Kaneko for over 40 years. They both gained a great love and respect for one another, through their trials and tribulations of the business world. Both created a strong work ethic and foundation for their family.
But, what Margie enjoyed most was camping, boating and her very own Sea-Doo to bounce and explore Starvation Lake. Margie deeply enjoyed traveling with her husband. Whether it be exotic or bizarre, as long as her best friend and husband was by her side, she would have traveled anywhere. Margie's greatest and most powerful joy was her 6 wonderful grandchildren. Whom she loved more than life itself…
We have been together for so many years,
Some with laughter and some with tears.
I will carry you with me for the rest of my days,
Until we meet again.
Survived by husband, Paul Kaneko; sons, J.R. Kaneko (Nicole), Tyler Kaneko; daughter, Ashley Kaneko-Johnson (Damon); grandchildren, Stockton, Zach, Tylee, Salem, Kai and Zoie; mother, Carol Laycock; brother, Earl (Maryjane); sisters, Ann, Kathy, and Tammy (John).
A Celebration to honor our beloved wife, mother and grandmother "Nana Neko" to be held at Heritage Gardens, 2050 Creek Road, Sandy, UT on the 24th day of August, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
