To watch this service, please click on the link below. \r\n\r\n Click HERE to view Funeral Services for Marlo Jenkins\r\n\r\n\r\nMarlo D Jenkins went from the arms of his loving wife Sandy to the arms of his Heavenly Father after a devastating battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was born in Afton, Wyoming to Royal and Mable (Draney) Jenkins. He was the fourth of nine children. He grew up in Star Valley. He moved to Murray, Utah and attended Murray High School graduating in 1959. He lost a year of school to Rheumatic Fever. Marlo worked for 34 years at Kennecott. He drove long haul truck off and on throughout his life and loved it. On some of these trips he was able to take his family along. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many callings. His favorite calling was volunteering in the nursery. He had a lot of miraculous and faith promoting experiences in his life. He loved helping and serving others. He never passed anyone in need and could fix just about anything.\r\n\r\nMarlo is survived by his wife, Sandra (Muir) and 7 children: Cindi Mackenzie, Kristi Garcia, Chris (Becki) Jenkins, Kent (Allison) Jenkins, Jennifer (Jeff Ng) Jenkins, Malisa Troutwine, and Jesica (Kyle) Swensen. He is also survived by siblings, Darlene Schmidt, Val D Jenkins, Patricia Jenkins, Marva Lou Cutler, and Terry Jenkins. Marlo loved dearly all of his 20 grandchildren: Devon (Charles), Kathryn, Reilly, Desyrea, Lance (Megan), Shalise (Sixtus), Madilynn (Chandler), Alysa, Emma, Teah, Ellee, Braeden, Teegan, Trint, Shae, Jaren, Eylah, Kenlee, Zackary, and Michael and was blessed with 4 great grandchildren; Mirabelle, Ryker, Charlotte and Harley and two bonus granddaughters Elizabeth Foster and Emilee Troutwine as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Mable, siblings; Jay, Lael, and Kay.\r\n\r\nFuneral Services will be held at noon on Monday, December 28, 2020 with a viewing an hour prior. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the River View 8th Ward, 288 West River Chapel Road, Draper, Utah. Interment will be at the Crescent Cemetery in Sandy, Utah.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of the family we would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and kind deeds. We are thankful for all of his caregivers over the years.
