Mary Ann "Janie" Martinez Obituary (1952 - 2019)

10/8/1952 ~ 11/9/2019 Mary Ann “Janie” Martinez, 67, passed away in her sleep of natural causes on November 9, 2019. She was born in Coyote, New Mexico on October 8, 1952. Her father is Delfin Martinez and her mother is Ercelia Rose Herrera. She was the fourth of six children. She spent her childhood in Fruita, Colorado. Mary Ann was a wonderful person with a good heart that cared for other people in spite of her pain. She greatly loved her little dog Scotty. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Janie is survived by her husband, Jimmy; her two sons, Mike and Mark; also leaving behind her mother, Rose; her brother, Steve; and two sisters, Lorraine and Dell. She was preceded in death by her father, Delfin, and her three brothers, Herman, Pete and Jake. A Memorial service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake Christian Center, 4300 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, Utah
