Mary Ann Myers

Mary Ann Park Myers, 61, passed away on February 7, 2023 from cancer.

She was born on October 2, 1961, in Murray, to Lois Peterson and Jay Young Park. She was sealed to Terry Lewis Myers, on June 28, 1996, in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many callings.

After graduating from Bingham High School, Mary Ann attended Snow College on a music scholarship. Later, she graduated from Utah State University with her Business degree.

She worked for many years with the Utah State Health Department in the Baby Your Baby program, which she loved. Mary Ann took several years off to raise her beloved children, and later returned to the workforce as a Preschool teacher at Challenger School and an Administrative Assistant for the Sellers Group.

The hobbies she enjoyed were doing anything that made her children smile, singing while playing her guitar, drawing, crafting, scrapbooking, and putting together gift bags for family parties or anyone she knew that was in need. Mary Ann loved vacations with her kids to Disneyland, Snowbird, and anywhere else they could be together. Mary Ann was beloved by all who knew her and she shared her love, help, and smile with all those around her.

Mary Ann is survived by her three children, Daniel Jay, Joshua Terry, and Jacqueline Ann, and by her five siblings, Janice (Jim) Kanaley, Susan (Wayne) Neilson, Randy Jay (Jeninne) Park, Russell William (Jewel) Park, and Kimberly (Paul) Averett. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Terry Lewis Myers, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11 am at the Garden Park Stake Center, 11632 S Night Heron Road, South Jordan. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 17, from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, and Saturday at the church from 10:00-10:45 am before the services.
