Mary Alder Walton

Murray, UT – Mary Alder Walton, 76, died March 7, 2017 in a peaceful, spiritual experience in her home in Murray surrounded by Jerry, Wendy and Trevor.

Born on January 20, 1941 in Midway, Utah to A. Burton and Margaret Marie Magee Alder. Married Jerry Walton September 23, 1967 in Midway, Utah. As an active member of the LDS Church, she could constantly be found serving and caring for others. Mary's greatest joy was becoming a mother and grandmother. Each one of them knows that they are her favorite.

Survived by her husband: Jerry, children: Wendy (Randy) Willes, Murray; Trevor (Coleen) Walton, Riverton; 8 grandchildren; sister: Inez Wilde, Midway; brother: Burton (Sheri) Alder, Apple Valley, CA; preceded in death by her sister: Jane Mangum.

Funeral services Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray Little Cottonwood 12th Ward (6180 S. Glen Oaks St., Murray). Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. and at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Interment: Midway Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.
