She was always supportive and very proud of Max in his endeavors as a general contractor, and then co-owner of Superior Buck & Steel.\n\nMax and Maurine enjoyed nearly 70 years together. They had the opportunity to go on many trips and adventures together. Best of all, they loved to spend time together on the back porch enjoying the beautiful view of the Salt Lake valley and the small window of nature on their property, especially the horses and quail.\n\nMaurine was an amazing homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She always showed kindness and unconditional love. She made sure every birthday was celebrated.\n\nMaurine loved music and was often found humming her favorite tunes. She was a talented pianist and gave many piano lessons to her children and grandchildren. She was always excited to see a musical or a children's music recital.\n\nAt church, she served in many callings, including Young Womens, Primary, and Relief Society presidencies. She loved serving and gave her callings her all. She enjoyed being a ministering sister.
