Mechelle Lee (Rees) Larsen Obituary (1977 - 2020)

Mechelle Lee (Rees) Larsen (42), resident of Manti, Utah, married to Delbert Larsen passed away the evening of Thursday May 7th, 2020 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah due to heart failure. She was born to Mother Susan Faye (Nilsson) Rees and Father Keven Lee Rees on August 29th, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah. All who knew Mechelle would agree she had a unique love and passion for life. She was an amazing, beautiful, brave, strong, and determined woman who lived her life to the fullest. Nothing could get in her way as she fearlessly faced life’s challenges, as said in her motto “We Got This”. She was a stranger to no one, and could make anyone laugh in their time of need. She loved spending time with her family, especially with Keven Rees (father and best friend) and could never be separated from her dog (D.O.G.). She was an outdoors person who loved camping under the stars, and was a collector of anything to do with frogs. She was always so proud of her children, they were her motivation and reason for living. We are happy to say she is now at peace and free of any pain she endured in life. Mechelle’s strong will and unforgettable laugh will be missed. Mechelle is and always will be loved and missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She is preceded in death by her mother Susan Rees, and survived by; her Children: Austin, Skyler, Alixandria, and two step children Kaesha, and Mariah, her father: Keven Rees, step mother: Sandra Rees, siblings: Colby, Amanda, Christopher, Nicholas, Fenishia, step siblings: Riley, Spencer, Kent Neeley and family: Siblings Monica, Stephanie, Erika, Jodie, Kody as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family regrets that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the viewing will be family and close friends. Viewing held May 16th, 2020 from 2:00 PM -2:45 PM at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, UT 84107.
