TO VIEW FUNERAL SERVICE LIVE CLICK LINK BELOW View Funeral Webcast Mele Vunivola Takai’s sunrise was on August 7th, 1966 and had her final sunset on May 25th of 2020. The last two weeks of her life were spent fighting a good fight against Covid-19. She was a God-fearing woman, who loved to praise his name and was the eldest child of Vatuniloka(RIP) and Heilala Fangupo's 5 children. She was an amazing woman who was loved by all, very outspoken, humble, generous, and most of all hilarious! She was a loving wife, strong mother, dear sister, cool cousin, helping aunt, and the BEST Grandma. She is survived by her beloved husband Amanaki and three beautiful daughters; Faavae Ohihifo, Mele Tuipulotu, Tapule Veapina Takai. Also her siblings Ma’u Fangupo (Alica), Tangikina Sekeni (Rev.TuutaFaiva) and Polisia Peni (Fili). Vunivola joined her daughter Mele Tangikina, her little brother Patefa and Father Vatuniloka in heaven. This lovely lady returned back home leaving behind an empty space in our mourning hearts. There was never a dull moment with this strong willed woman! She made sure to bring light into any dark room and to stick to her word no matter what it was! Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 6th, 2020 at 8AM-11AM followed by a service at 11AM-12PM at Jenkins-Soffe mortuary 4760 S. State Street Murray, Utah 84107. Burial will be held at Redwood cemetery at 12:30 PM 6500 S. Redwood Rd, Taylorsville Ut 84123.
