Michael B. Nacey Obituary (1958 - 2013)

1958 ~ 2013 Michael B. Nacey passed away quietly in his home in Salt Lake City on December 18, 2013. Mike, as he was known to all, except his mother when he was in trouble was born in Salt Lake City on January 4, 1958, to Robert E. and Barbara Nacey. He was the 6th of 9 children. Mike was a gifted electrician, both residential and commercial, but what stood out most about Mike was his never-ending desire for adventure and exploring. He loved to travel the country with his backpack and sleeping bag using local resources as he went. He wasn't overly-concerned about material things and was quite creative in finding a solution to any dilemma. He is survived by his mother, Barbara; brother, David (Margaret) Jensen; brother, Robin (Jody); brother, Patrick; sister, Shannon (Kent) Pugmire; brother, Shaun (Marla); and sister, Erin; his three children, Nicole, Kerri, and Adrienne; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert, sister, Janet, and brother, Jim. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 23, 2013, 12:30 p.m., at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah prior to services.
