Micheal Irwin Green Obituary (1980 - 2017)

August 3, 1980-January 8, 2017 Our beloved husband, loving father, perfect son, amazing brother, cousin, and friend was suddenly taken from our lives. Instead of remembering him by this horrific accident, we would like to remember him for the wonderful person he was. Micheal was born into the most loving home, and was the oldest of three kids. He had 2 sisters who he loved to torture by doing things like convincing them that Crisco tastes "just like vanilla ice cream." He had a knack for picking up useless trivia, and there were many nights spent as a family playing Trivial Pursuit, where the game turned into a joke for his mother and sisters, and a friendly competition between him and his father, who shared the same love of useless trivia. Micheal grew up learning to love the outdoors and spent much of his childhood on the water. He loved it so much he made a career out of it, and spent the last 20 years working for Boaters' Outlet, which shows the kind of loyalty he possessed. In 2005, Micheal met the love of his life, Mandi Coombs. They fell in love and brought the most beautiful baby boy, Gage Daimian Micheal Green, into the world. Gage is 10 years old, and you can see the beautiful qualities of his father shine through in him every single day. In 2015, they brought another little miracle into this world. Scarlette Annelleice Green is a beautiful little girl version of Micheal. Micheal would do anything and everything for his family. He put them first in every decision he ever made, and he was so proud of the life that he and Mandi built together. Micheal was a family guy, both immediate and extended family. His sisters and cousins are his closest friends, and he made a point to spend as much time with them as possible. Gage goes to school near Grammie and Papa's house, so he would go to their house every day after school. Micheal would pick him up and made a point to spend time with his parents each time. He loved family nights. He spent a lot of weekends having game nights, and sushi nights with his sisters and their families. Micheal was one of the best people anyone has ever met, and losing him leaves the biggest hole in our hearts. Our lives will never be the same without him, but we are all so much better for having known him. Always in our hearts, forever in our memories. Micheal is survived by his wife, Mandi Coombs; son, Gage Green; daughter, Scarlette Green; parents, Irwin & Traci Green; sisters Mykio (Scott) Saracino and Mikayle Green (Connor Stevens); grandmother Sally (Robert) Kerr; parents in law, Shelleice and Monte Stokes; grandparents in law DG and Nancy Normington; nieces, Sophia, Rhiannon, Ryland, Danika, Isabelle, Lillie, Elsea, Ava and Dayvia; nephews, Scotty, Trenton, Jaxon and Conrad; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Berry; grandfather, Joe Berry; grandfather, Peter Green; and cousin, Samantha Morton. The family would like to give a huge thank you to Micheal's best friend Richie Hansen, and his wife Brooke. They have been angels for our family during such a hard time. Funeral Services will be held Friday January 13, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Jenkins Soffe South Valley located at 1007 W South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.), South Jordan, Utah, 84095, where friends and family may visit from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.
