Milagros Wright was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on January 31, 1946 and left us on November 10, 2021 at the age of 75. Millie, as family and close friends knew her, passed peacefully in San Antonio, Texas, closeby to her eldest daughter and family who lovingly cared for her during the last few years.\n\nAt a young age, Millie left the small town of Isabella, Puerto Rico with her family for the busy streets of Brooklyn, New York. Her first marriage brought her the joys of a first daughter, Cynthia Rae, and took her across the country to San Jose, California. She then settled in Utah, marrying Robert L. Wright on December 30, 1971. They had two more children, Robert and Andrea. Millie worked for nearly 30 years for the Jordan School District assisting children with disabilities to get to and from school. She loved children, and serving these young people gave her great joy.\n\nMillie is survived by her three siblings, Pedro, Carmen, Joe, three children, Cynthia, Robert, Andrea, their spouses, Thomas, Shannon, Joseph, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Wright, and parents Arturo and Carmen Quinoñes.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 11AM-12PM at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT 84095. The viewing will begin at 9:30AM. Burial to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
