"Mel"\r\n\r\nMilbert H. Pfeiffer of Salt Lake City passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 23, 2019.\r\nHe was born January 14, 1932 in Eureka, South Dakota. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He worked for Amoco Oil for 40 years in Huron, South Dakota; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Salt Lake City.\r\n\r\nHe married Elaine Pfeiffer on December 11, 1955. His last wish was to be reunited with her. They lived in South Dakota, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and St. George. They were long-time members of Christ Lutheran Church in Murray, Utah.\r\n\r\nPreceded in death by his wife Elaine, brothers Walter and Norman. Survived by sons Steven (Denise) Pfeiffer and John (Deanna), and his brother LaVerne, and grandchildren Sarah (Dan Fischer), James (Bridgette Rodriguez) and Anthony (Barak Mizrahi).\r\n\r\nThanks to the staff at Cottonwood Creek Assisted Living.\r\n\r\nThe family will hold a graveside service at Camp Williams Cemetery.
