Morris Victor Clift
March 29, 1968 - June 17, 2025

Morris Victor Clift (57) passed away peacefully at his home in Lyman Wyoming.

Morris was born to Georgia and Victor Clift on March 29, 1968. Morris is survived by his two sons; Jaxson Clift, Riley Nielsen, daughter-in-law Breanna Nielsen, grandson Noah Nielsen and sister Tonya Thomas. Morris is preceded in death my his parents Victor and Georgia Clift, brother John Courtney Wilson and sister Vene’ Robison.

From an early age Morris was driven by a sense for adventure and a love of flying, eventually obtaining a pilots license. Any time he could, Morris loved to be outside. He worked and played outside. He was an avid fisherman and loved going on fishing adventures with his best friend Brian. He also enjoyed hiking, biking, camping, golfing and bowling with friends in Rock Springs. He was also excited about taking up skiing next winter.

Through his work with Joy Exteriors, Morris was able to improve not just the homes in his community but the lives of those he met. His family and friends can attest that Morris had a special kindness to him, and it resonated throughout his life.

Morris had just finished 6 months of chemotherapy treatments to beat lymphoma and he fought it courageously and was winning the battle. He was looking forward to a new chapter in his life and was planning to attend Wyoming Community College to get a nursing degree. Morris was a people person and wanted to pay the kindness forward. This was inspired by the excellent care he received from the doctors and nurses at the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute and a special thank you to Acqua for the wonderful support and comfort they provided Morris.

Viewing will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 1 to 3 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home at 4760 South State Street, Murray Utah
