Muriel E. Stephan

Muriel E. Stephan passed away April 12, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 16, 1916 in Cosmos, Minnesota to Robert I. and Mary Christina Madsen Sorenson. Married John Stephan in March 1940.

She was a homemaker and professional accordion player. She is survived by sons John (Marilyn); Christopher (Cynthia). Five granddaughters, 1 grandson, and 5 great-granddaughters. Preceded in death by her parents, husband John Stephan, daughter Karen and brother Robert Sorenson.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1955 Stratford Ave, Salt Lake City, UT, with a viewing Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray. Interment Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
