Naeme Wilhelmina Mower Obituary (1946 - 2017)

"Mor Mor" Naeme Wilhelmina Mower, wife, mother and Mor Mor, returned to her Heavenly Father on March 10, 2017. Naeme was born in Seattle, Washington, October 11, 1946 to Walfrid Albin & Peggy Bernstrom. She became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints July 2, 1959. While still in high school, she joined the Davis family after the passing of her parents. She graduated from Shoreline High in 1964. She resided in Virginia for a brief time, and settled in Utah. On November 27, 1968, she married her sweetheart, Michael, in the Salt Lake Temple. She worked as a secretary for the Church, cared for many neighborhood children in her home, and ran the snack shack for Hillcrest High Baseball. Various callings in the church included Cub Scout leader, Draper Temple worker, Schofield camp director, Primary President in Alaska, primary teacher, and visiting teacher. Naeme loved traveling, genealogy, shopping at Costco and Ikea, palm trees, and meeting new people. Naeme is survived by her husband, Michael Eugene; her children: Kimberly, Mayumi (Steve), Leslie (Samuel), Michael Nicholas (Staci), Kerry (Ciara); 11 grandbabies; and her dog, Justice. Friends and family are invited to visit Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 6-8pm and again Wednesday, March 15th from 10-10:40 am with services beginning at 11am.
