Neal Carroll

–

South Salt Lake, Utah

Neal K Carroll passed away on September 4, 2026 from a long battle of colon cancer. He was born August 27, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah with his sister Ryan Carroll, his brother Robert Carroll, his mother Terri Carroll and his dad Duane Carroll. Growing up, he was his siblings protector and played the big Brother role extremely well. They always knew they could come to him with anything and he would do anything in his power to help them.

Neal had a passion for the outdoors, from camping to fishing, he always wanted to be with nature. One of his favorite past times would be to go fishing with his brother and go spear of the moment camping. He also had an extreme love for music. He was a country boy, but loved his rock ‘n’ roll. Anyone whoever came into contact with Neal always loved him for his goofy personality and his way of still being a kid in a grown-up body.

Neal had three children, his oldest son Phillip Carroll, his middle child Chantel Carroll, and his youngest daughter Cheyenne Carroll. Neal was also blessed with his first grandson, Aiden Boone. Neal worked as a plumber and in that timeframe, he met and worked for dear friend and mentor Greg Huntington.

Throughout the years of knowing him, he learned a lot. Greg was always there to help him through his tough times and his family always opened up their doors for Neal at the drop of a hat. Neal was loved by all of his friends and every single one of them came to see him in his last days. He was extremely grateful for all the beautiful friendships that he had in life and always spoke very highly of all of his friends.

He has proceeded in death with his parents, Terri and Duane, his Grandfather, who he was named after, and his grandmother. He leaves behind a string of heavy hearts that will miss him dearly. But death is never saying goodbye. It is just saying I will see you again soon.

Neal did not want a service, but we will be holding a celebration of life at the end of the month for him. For the details on this, you can text Chantel Carroll or you can email her at chantelmariecarroll94@gmail.com.
