Ned A. Peterson, born October 3, 1940, passed away on October 31, 2022. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree. He excelled at mathematics and was an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration for 35 years.\n\nNed loved our Utah mountains and canyons. He enjoyed hiking and camping in the Uinta Mountains and the Cottonwood Canyon trails. He was an avid reader of non-fiction subjects, always curious and looking to increase his knowledge. \n\nHis greatest joy in life was spending time with his two grandchildren, Ayvri and Quinn.\n\nNed is survived by his wife Verla Peterson, sons Troy, Brent, and Gary Peterson, daughter Wendy (Jack) Bush, grandchildren Ayvri and Quinn Peterson, and his sister Annette Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Ruby Peterson, and his sister, Norene (Ralph) Streeper.\n\nWe would like to thank Jordan Villa neighbors, Sherrie Stewart with Envision Home Health Care, Pheasant Run Care Facility, and Harmony Hospice for their care of Ned.\n\nPrivate family graveside services will be held at the Lehi City Cemetery.
