Nennette Debs

–

Saratoga Springs, Utah

Nennette Debs, our Winged White Buffalo Woman, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. At the young age of 46, she found herself making peace with a battle that would soon end her life. Her love and deep admiration for holistic medicine and healing guided her every action for the months to come. Her higher self helped her to choose quality over quantity. Nennette lived a very adventurous life every day until the day she got her wings. She now goes on to her new journey.

Nennette was born in Mexico City on August 12, 1975. Daughter of Philip Debs and Georgina Coon. Georgina bravely brought her first daughter into this world on a beautiful sunny day. She was the angel that this world needed not only for her mother but for everyone she came in contact with.

Nennette spent her early years traveling the country with her family. She graduated from Dixie High School in St. George, Utah, class of 1993. As a young adult she loved all things nature, she would dance, write poems and hike at every opportunity, all while staying grounded with mother nature.

Nennette had deep roots in her Mayan and Yaqui ancestry, which led to her passion for the healing arts, science, and biology as it’s deeply rooted to her through her heritage. She then graduated from UCMT in Salt Lake City, UT which led her to become the gifted massage therapist that she was. This led to her deep desire for spiritual healing along with other holistic approaches. This catapulted her career of being self employed, this shaped who she was as a person. Nennette’s family, and those who knew her, can confirm her gifts of touch and healing.

Nennette is a proud mother of 6 children, Erykah, Nadia, Ashanti, Ceca, Mina, and Rayzelle. Along with being a Grandmother to 5 beautiful children. As a mother she was very compassionate, intuitive, and an attentive listener. She balanced her dreams, as well as her professional work as she traveled, hiked, embraced cultural studies: art, poetry, music, dance, and yoga. Her life was filled with playing and laughing. Some of her most treasured experiences were working as a Montessori Directress and attending sacred workshops. Nina’s greatest accomplishment and trial was being a single mom with fulfilling her spiritual journey she knew she wanted to start from the age of five. She worked with love and hard energy on building her massage business from the ground up all while taking care of her most prized possessions, her kids. Grandma Nina, found her ultimate joy in being with her grandkids, which brought upon a new meaning of life. Her inner child was magnified when she was with all 5 of them. She was hilarious, free spirited, and lived very much in a fantasy land with them. Her loud laughter, bright beautiful smile, and knowledge will be greatly missed.

Nennette is survived by her 6 children, 5 grandchildren as well by her mother, Georgina Coon; father, Philip Debs; and siblings, Sheila, Michelle, JT, and Jimmy. Nennette was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Micaela Flores and Millie Debs and grandfathers, Manuel Flores and Phillip W. Debs.
