Nettie Jane Huntington Holladay passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Moab, Utah. Nettie was born October 6, 1924 in Orangeville, Utah to Archie and Velma Huntington. She was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served on an LDS mission in the Eastern States Mission. She served in many callings throughout her life and was actively involved as a teacher in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers over 30 years. \n\nHer passion in life was her love of history, her many gardens and her grandchildren. She married Lee Joseph Holladay on April 17, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple and had two daughters and one son. \n\nShe is survived by her husband, Lee; brother, Bobby; children, Arenda (Jim), Nora (Steve) and David; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katherine Buck, and Christian and Stephanie Crump. \n\nGraveside services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street. A memorial service will also be held at the Moab Fifth Ward on Monday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m.
