Our Angel Has Returned Home\n\nNicole (Nicki) Beck left this earth on July 2, 2022, and returned home to her loving Father in Heaven. For the first time in many years, she is truly at peace and free from the pains of this mortal life. She is now able to see clearly all those that truly loved her that remained here and experience the love of those that went before her, including her precious dog, Spyro.\n\nNicki was born to David Brewster and Joan Garside Beck in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 1, 1984. She was our beautiful blue-eyed blond and the first granddaughter born in a long line of grandsons on her mother’s side. It was obvious at a very young age that she was a stubborn and extremely determined child, which helped and sometimes hindered her through the more difficult times of her short 38 years of her life. She exhibited a deep and abiding love for animals at a very young age, which is why she left behind two very rambunctious black labs (“her babies” as she called them) Drake and Bella.\n\nNicki was also an avid writer who showed a talent for poetry as she had several of her poems published in various books. She expressed through her writings that she was happiest when she was with her friends, but it was her family that loved her more deeply and unconditionally and it is they that will miss her the most along with her two friends, Heather and Jade who stood by her over the last several years, who exhibited true friendship through their actions to help her.\n\nNicole is survived by her father, David Brewster Beck and her mother, Joan Garside Beck as well as her brothers, Zachary Paul, Ryan David (Harpreet Kaur) and Aaron Floyd Beck and her sister, Erica Beck. She is also survived by her three nephews, Peyton Zachary, Isaac Mark and Trey David Beck, and two nieces, Simran Rula and Aria Joan Beck, her grandmother, Karen Jackson Beck, her aunts and uncle on David’s side, Janet (Jacob) Helland, John Beck, Rachelle (Carl) Doane and on her mother’s side, Sheryn Bennion and Julie (Robert) Groves and 13 cousins.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her grandfather, Frederick Eugene Beck, Paul Smith Garside and her grandmother, Rula Coe Garside, her uncle, Jeffrey Paul Garside and her two nephews, Madden Chad and Edwin Coe Beck.\n\nThe parting thought that has greatly comforted her family over the past few days is that her Father in Heaven in his infinite mercy reached out on the evening of July 2nd with his loving arms and told her that she had fought a valiant fight and it was now time for her to return to her heavenly home where she could find the long sought-after peace and contentment that evaded her here.\n\nThe family has made the decision not to hold a formal service. Please leave any thoughts or messages below for our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, cousin and friend, Nicki Beck.
