Nicole Dinehart Peterson, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend returned to our Heavenly Father on May 19th, 2022. \n\nNicole was born February 25th, 1982 in American Fork, Utah, daughter of Laurene and Jordan Dinehart. She was the oldest of 5 children, Talon Jordan (Patty) Dinehart, Kelcee Dinehart, Dylan Wesley (Anna) Dinehart and Kourtney (Adam) Worthington. Growing up she was very talented and loved dance, sports, cheerleading along with her gift of drawing and painting. She graduated from Alpine Summit High School. Nicki enjoyed life and her spirit could not be contained. \n\nShe married Joseph Gabaldon and they have 4 children, Brennan, Gage, Damion and Asasia. They later divorced. Nicki loved her children fiercely. She considered herself “a blessed Momma”. She recently found the love her life, Casey (KC) Peterson and they were married last month on April 20th, 2022. They completed each other and made each other better. In her own words, she stated, “ I married my best friend.”\n\nIf there was one thing you should know about Nicki, she was Las Vegas Raiders number one fan. She was always repping their attire and cheering them on. RAIDERS NATION! Nicole had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone in need. She was an advocate for substance abuse recovery and domestic violence recovery at A New Dawn. She was a professional tattoo artist and advocate for Soul Survivor Ink. \n\nSoul Survivor Ink said it best when they stated, “Nicki was such a generous and selfless person she would often travel out of state to help cover up and remove the branding from sex trafficking survivors. Even when she had a very busy schedule, she would find the time to help with our cause. Many of the hands from our Freedom Tree are survivors that she personally had worked with.”\n\nShe was preceded in death by her grandparents, Knollin and Shirley Haws.\n\nA celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 408 W 1300 N, Pleasant Grove, Utah at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends may gather prior to this from 10:30-11:45 a.m.
