Norris R. Reading Obituary (1910 - 2007)

“Gone Fishin” Norris Reading, 97, passed away October 22, 2007 at his home in Murray. Born March 7, 1910 in Murray, UT to Rollo Ray & Zellah Ballard Reading. Married Mary Margaret Cook on June 1937. He liked gardening, fishing and hunting. Survived by his daughter, Carol. Preceded in death by his wife; and his daughter, Jean. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Ward, 41 West 6280 South (Clay Park Drive). Friends and family may attend the viewing from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., and Saturday from 12-1 p.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be at Murray City. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Utah.
