Patricia Rose Sharp Johnson

Patty, age 74 passed away peacefully in her home with her family around on Thursday, February 26, 2015, after many years of health challenges. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Vernon and Velva Morrison Sharp. Patty married Dale Lee Johnson September 15, 1964 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Patty dedicated her life to her family, church and had a passion for family history. She had a keen sense of humor for life and a quick wit. Patty is survived by her children, Julie (Grant) Rugg, Murray, UT, Boyd Kevin (Demri) Johnson, Sandy, UT, Colette Johnson (daughter in law), Salem, UT, Jennifer (Marlon) Moe, Riverton, UT, Benjamin Dale (Amy) Johnson, Holladay, UT, 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brother, Robert (Esther) Morrison Sharp, VanCouver, WA, sister, Carol Ann Shipley, East Millcreek, UT. Patty is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Lee Johnson 3/4/06, son, Mark Andrew Johnson 12/17/09, and sister Gloria Jean Sharp Kirk 10/21/05.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 12 noon at Crescent 11th Ward 89 E. 11000 S., Sandy, UT. Friends and family may come for visitation prior to the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Murray City Cemetery. Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com
