Patricia "Patty" Kay Morton Spencer Obituary (1959 - 2009)

Our loving wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother left this world on March 26, 2009. She was born August 4, 1959 to Glenn and Kathy Morton in Elko, Nevada. Patty grew up in Taylorsville, Utah. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Patty met her husband, Keith, and they started their lives together on August 26, 1983. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Patty is survived by her loving companion, Keith Spencer; son, Jamie (Marty) Morton; grandson, Ryker; mother, sister Valerie Peterson, brothers; Glenn, Richard, Craig and nieces; Katie Zak, Kelly Peterson and nephews; Jeff Morton, Sean Peterson, Zack Morton, Jordan Morton and great nephews; Jayden Zak, and Jaxson. She will be dearly missed by friends and family, best friend, Shauna, and her two dogs, Sadie and Blue, who were always by her side. She was preceded in death by father, Glenn Morton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2009 at the LDS church at 12998 South 1350 West in Riverton, Utah. A viewing begins at 11:00 am followed by funeral services at 12:00 pm. Patty will continue living on through the gift of organ donation(s). Donations to the family would be appreciated to help with funeral expenses.
