My life started on December 28, 1939 in Murray, Utah to my parents Leland Stanford and Lois Joy Hale. Both are deceased. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended local schools. Graduated from Olympus High School in 1958. I married the love of my life and best friend Kathryn Ann Wagstaff on August 9, 1963. (I have really missed you kiddo, you are the best) and was blessed with four children: Jeff, Greg, Amy and Chris. I can say my life has been a great journey, even though it hasn’t always turned out as I had envisioned. It has been filled with joy, love, and precious moments balanced at times by the difficult lessons life teaches. I will miss my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the many friends and extended families that I have met in this journey of life.\n\nI have caught my last fish, hunted for the last time on Greys River, finished by last desert race, made my last ski run, made my last putt, sat by my last campfire on Lynx Creek, danced the Last Waltz, and had one last Harley ride, love those Harley rides. (God also rides a Harley) and although I go on alone, do not grieve for my passing. Instead rejoice in the beauty of our magnificent world and follow your heart to each new adventure. In life do not cry because it is over, smile because it happened. Live one day at a time, love one day at a time, doing the best you can and hope for the best with special memories and precious moments. \n\nI leave behind my four children, Jeff, Greg, Amy (Pat) and Chris (Leesa), 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and sister Connie (Harry). Preceded in death by my younger sister Karen and brother Dave. \n\nHappy Trails! \n\nA graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 at Murray City Cemetery, 5490 S.
