Best Grandma EverPeggy "June" Todd Pope age 57, died in her Murray home 30 August 2010 after a ten-month fight with Pancreatic cancer. June was born 22 June 1953 to Stanley M and Irene Rigby Todd. She married her sweetheart Mark Jay on 7 December 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple.June's life was centered on her faith and her family. She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers. She is survived by her husband Mark Jay Pope their thirteen children: Mary Durfey (James), Mark Pope (Debbilyn), Celest Christensen (Korey), Kathryn Blomberg (Daniel), Larry Pope (Rachel), Cheryl Ellery (Joshua), James Pope (Rachel), John Pope, William Pope, Cynthia Crockett (Christopher), Elder Jay Pope, Robert Pope, and Charlotte Pope, father Stanley Todd (Merrilene), two sisters, and fourteen grandchildren. Mom, we know you are in the Lord's hands. We promise to follow your oft-given counsel "Be Prayerful and Careful" until we meet again.The viewing will be Friday, 3 September from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. The funeral service will be at Saturday, 4 September at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray South Stake Center, 5735 South Fashion Boulevard, Murray, Utah.
