Phillip Cannon Winder passed away peacefully on July 7, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.\n\nBorn in Salt Lake City on November 12, 1929 to Anne Cannon Winder and John Rex Winder. Phil worked at Winder Dairy for over 60 years. He married the love of his life, Madeleine Tuft, in 1953. They were happily married for over 57 years.\n\nPhil was deeply devoted to his family and loved having fun times with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was kind, generous, considerate, and had an amazing sense of humor. We will miss him terribly and love him so much.\n\nPreceded in death by his parents, and siblings John, Charles, Anne, and Helen. Survived by his beloved wife Madeleine, brother Pete, children Paul, Roger (Kim), Mary (Shawn), Brent (Monica), and Emily (Jason), fifteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.\n\nA memorial service will be held in Phillip’s honor at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 S.
