Father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, died Sept 15, 2008 in Towson, MD. Born \nJul 22, 1917 to Morgan J and Lilian Henline Davies; married Arlene Lever in Salt Lake City Apr 7, 1940.\n\nRaised in Morgan, he spent the majority of his adult life in Murray and Cottonwood. He was a 5th generation plasterer and in addition to a number of prominent buildings in the Salt Lake Valley was proud to have worked with his grandfather, father and brothers on chapels and stake centers in Utah and Idaho. From 1968-1982 he drove school bus for Granite School District and often spoke of trips out of state with the Granite High band. \n\nHe and his wife enjoyed sharing their love of dancing and the great out of doors with young men and women in the wards and stakes in which they lived. Following retirement, they enjoyed caravanning with friends throughout the Intermountain West. In 2005 he moved with his daughter to Baltimore, MD to spend time with his granddaughter and her family.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his wife and is survived by his daughter, Sheran Smith; granddaughter, Nicol O’Connor (Michael); and great-grandsons, Patrick and James.\n\nGraveside services will be Saturday, Sept 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1950 E. A viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 South).
