View Funeral Webcast\r\n\r\nRaymond Ralph Victor Burrows beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home in St George on December 8, 2020, he passed away on his fathers birthday December the 8 th and will be buried on his son's birthday December 18th.\r\n\r\nBorn of January 3, 1931 in Murray, Utah, son of Ralph Woodruff Burrows and Viola Peterson \r\n\r\nMarried to Faye Arlene Wilkinson Heusser Burrows on August 8, 1959 and had one son Lonn.\r\n\r\nRay served in the Air Force from May 1951 to September 1952 during the Korean Conflict Era.\r\n\r\nRay worked at Kennecott for 20 years where he worked multiple jobs there, he then quit and went to drafting school for a year. Ray then went back to Kennecott for another 22 years, where he worked in the warehouse truck shop.\r\n\r\nAfter retiring from Kennecott he went to work for Nolan Slaugh's Chevron station. Then he went to work for Rick Warner parts Department.\r\n\r\nRay loved Oceanside, playing the slots at Wendover, and going fishing and hunting with family and friends. He also loved to play golf and was on the Kennecott Copper golf league, and their bowling league. Ray always loved doing anything at any time with family and friends. \r\n\r\nRay is survived by his son Lonn (Jackie) Burrows, three grand daughters Launa, Shalonn, Loni, four great granddaughters Emma, Olivia, Abby. Jaelynn, one great grandson Liam. his brother Ronnie Burrows, and other extended family members.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his wife Faye Arlene Wilkinson Heusser Burrows, and his parents Ralph Woodruff Burrows and Viola Peterson, and his sister in law Fawnell Burrows.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 1 pm at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary 4760 South State Street, Murray Utah, interment Murray City Cemetery.
