Renata Heloisa de Carvalho Coon Obituary (1979 - 2015)

Renata Heloisa de Carvalho Coon passed away May 5, 2015 at the age of 35 after a long battle with cancer. Family vigilantly stayed by her side until she successfully finished her battle and returned to our Heavenly Father. Renata was born in Petropolis RJ Brazil October 29, 1979 to Luiz Carlos de Carvalho and Ana Maria Pereira. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Clyde Coon; son, Nikkos Clyde de Carvalho Coon age 3; and daughter, Brianna de Carvalho Coon age 2; also by her parents; and siblings, Luciana (Max) Porto, Carlos (Lucineide) de Carvalho, Ana Paula (Luciano) Souza and Ricardo (Leticia) de Carvalho. Renata was very proud of her service to the Lord, serving a full time mission in the Missao Brasil Brasilia mission and later marrying her eternal companion in the Campinas Brazil Temple for time and all eternity. Their 2 children are what allowed Renata to battle the cancer so courageously for 2 years and she loved every second of being a mother to them. It is very important to Renata that her children know she loves the Savior and obeyed the commandments. She enjoyed photography, anything to do with technology, the beach and Brazil. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 12:00 pm at the Butler 10th Ward, 6634 S Greenfield Way (1800 E.) in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday, the 11th from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, Utah and at the church from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service.
