Richard Henry Todd, age 74, passed away on February 17, 2022, in West Jordan, Utah. He was born August 8, 1947, in Provo Utah to Bernard and Shirley Todd. He lived most of his early years in Orem, Utah graduating from St. Francis High School in 1965. After serving in the United States Air Force and the Utah National Guard he was honorably discharged. He was a very skilled man in many areas including computers, craftsmanship, & auto mechanics. He had several interests that kept him busy like camping, horses, mining, & helping others in need. He had a special love for engineering, which led him to take part in building a machine that could create 1 million pounds of pressure. He married Barbara Anne Thompson on June 3, 1978, in Bountiful Utah. They had three boys together, and he had two daughters from previous relationships. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Barbara, three sons Michael R. Todd (Ashley), Stephen B. Todd, and Paul L. Todd, two daughters Regan Mardis (Russ) and Miranda Amodt, 18 grandchildren, and his brother Rusty Todd (Brenda). He is proceeded in death by his father (Bernard), mother (Shirley), and sister Kathleen Madsen. His celebration of life, with military honors, will be held with close family and friends on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe funeral home located at 1007 S. Jordan Parkway, South Jordan Utah. He lived a life of many adventures, hard work, and a lot of life lessons learned. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none. WE LOVE YOU!
