Robert Marlow Crabtree, age 62, passed away on February 21, 2019 after battling cancer. Rob was born May 12, 1956 in Murray, Utah to George Marlow Crabtree and Elvira “Boots” Johnson. He graduated from Murray High School in 1974. On April 1, 1978, he and Kristie Memmott were married. \r\n\r\nRob had a natural aptitude for all things mechanical. He never ran across anything he couldn’t build or fix. A drag racer and auto mechanic for most of his life, Rob had a lifelong passion for anything with an engine. He was always willing to lend a hand or advice to friends and neighbors with cars, homes, yards, and even kids’ bikes. Rob continued building cars until the day he could no longer leave the bed. \r\n\r\nPreceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife, Kris; son, Marshall (Celeste); daughter, Steph; grandchildren, Ramses and Moccah; and sister, Susan Ruff.\r\n\r\nA visitation will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 6-8pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 South State Street, Murray. A private, casual celebration of life for immediate family and close friends will be held at a later date.
