Robert William Lund

Born March 11, 1938 to Yeppa Lund and Catherine Daines in SLC, UT, Bob died peacefully on June 9, 2009 after a long illness. He lived in Washington, DC and Malad, Idaho during his school years. He served in the Southwest Indian Mission and married Liana Gerrard on September 14, 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, later divorced. He graduated from the U of U and was a member of the LDS Church where he served faithfully in many callings.

He is survived by his ten children, Cheryl Kehl, Pam (Stewart) Bates, Lori (James) Low, Robert W. Jr. (Denise), Camille (Mike) Acord, Melanie (John) Karren, Kimberly Sutton, Valerie (Kirk) Mattson, Scott (Brekkin) and Brian (Robyn). Brothers Howard and Y. Daines and sisters LaPriel Schumann and Karen Stucki.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the South Cottonwood Ward, 5605 S. Vine St. A viewing will be held Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray and Monday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Memorial Estates Redwood.
